Well, there's always worse out there (LAAAAAAAAAND!), although this is pretty hideous. The ovoid face is what sealed the deal, methinks.

(Although my coping strategy for shoujo art is just 'avoid it whenever possible', so YMMV)

Well, to be more clear, this is probably one of the worst examples of art to pick from the manga. It usually doesn't look so strange, though the figures are still usually very tall.
