111. I dunno if it's too late to say this or not, but if you're hurting, you've gotta take the risk and go for it. If you don't speak up, he'll never know. I think if what your friend has said is true, then you've got nothing to worry about. It's not like he'll turn you down, right?

Actually, the day after sending this to the group, I told him.

Mostly because I realize that Simon wouldn't have been so slow about it, and that he was going to be my friend no matter what.

He doesn't quite know what to do about it though. He's extremely confused, and while he says he's never had someone so close to him before, friend or no, he rejected me.

I guess, I'm still happy. He's still my friend, and I feel a little better. And there's no rule saying things won't change. Like I said, he doesn't know what love is.

His sister says he's planning to ask me out over winter break, though. Stubborn man.

Hey, I'm glad to hear that you actually told him. I went through what you're going through, and I know how hard it is to tell someone you're close to how you feel. I hope something works out for the two of you.
