I suspect a lot of the people who talk about "going gay for" someone in fandom are just using it as shorthand for "I'm really interested in her as a person/character and I think she's gorgeous, so I kind of have a girlcrush on her." There are a lot of male characters I talk about being hot for, but given the chance I would probably would not actually sleep with them.

112. That would bother me more if Sou and Mashiro's relationship hadn't been revolting from the start. :[ "You're really a girl, so that means you have to have sex with me!" "Oh, no, no, I don't want to, I'm a guy, stop forcing me, ooh, ooh, yes, I want you so much, I'll be a girl for you, Sou!"

144. I can't even use Britishisms online. I just can't. It makes me feel so silly, like I'm trying to be my British characters when I'm totally not.

164. Protip to everyone who gets mad at someone for using "OTP" to mean something other than "the only pairing I would ever ship for these characters" (or even "at all"): not everyone takes it so seriously. And that's okay.

166. But the fact that she happened to be able to save the planet and humanity after her death is really a relatively small part of why she's awesome.

Still. This world could use an Aeris right now all the same.

Yeah, that thing bothered me as well, but I kept reading up til volume... ah, five or six, can't really remember, hoping to see some change instead of just. Mashiro deciding that OHWAIT I MIGHT ACTUALLY BE A GIRL. TWU WUV HEALS.
