117 Watch eighties anime. Most series had more than one character designer to create variety and the art was just better in general. Also, there are plenty of good character designers around these days. It seems like you just aren't trying hard enough.

107. The show does have episodes about things like sexual, miscarriages, dissolved marriages, alcoholism, and child neglect that are played completely straight. They really are emotionally affecting.

Honestly:
You realize that there are /c/ threads about Hetalia, right? And that the few girls who are in it are pretty much loved (Hungary, I don't think anybody dislikes her) So true, it would have less appeal with a 70% female cast, but I think it'd be kind of the same if it was 50/50.
Not wanking OP, and not you either, just saying that even Hetalia fans wish to see more girls :) Heck, I love genderbent stories of it for more variety.
So yeah, I understand that it must be a little annoying to have all your f-list loving these series while you don't, but what keeps you from not looking at it and not talking about it? <3
