117 - Then look for shows with less generic designs? It's not like all anime look like the same. Try Gankutsuou, Noein, Gungrave, Honey and Clover, etc. etc....

138 - One thing I don't get about these anti-Hetalia secrets is the "bishounen" thing. I mean, yeah, in fanart they're usually drawn as pretty, but in canon? They're (mostly) completely... ordinary-looking as far as anime/manga characters go. And they appear in SD mode more often than not... Okay, I may be wrong about that, but I'm too lazy to check and you know what I mean. Incredibly cute? Oh yes. Pretty? I dunno...

161 - I don't really get that kind of fandom-hopping either. Probably because I usually get too emotionally invested in my main fandoms to just jump ship and leave like that...

164 - Nothing? But people have favorite couples from various shows. I use "OTP" in this sense and I think there's nothing wrong with it.

At least I think that's what it's in reference to. =) I've been really enjoying that short little series. Confusing as hell, but my god it's gorgeous. Yay Madhouse, lol

Haha, actually I've had this handle way before I even knew that Kurozuka existed, it's a reference to my favorite couple in Legend of the Galactic Heroes (yes, I'm that dorky). But Kurozuka is definitely gorgeous... which is all the more pleasant because I don't really like the art in the manga. Yay Madhouse, indeed! (And I really need to catch up with Kurozuka, I got stuck at episode 4.)

It's quite crazy. I hear it's following the manga fairly well but it's significantly less bloody/sex filled. It gets a bit jarring with all the skips through time and the lack of linear storytelling, but that's also what I enjoy about it to a degree.

It's only going to be 12 episodes. So it won't be too hard to catch the whole thing. I'm up to 8.. which I believe is the most recent, although it might be 9 now. Also, I love that the same seiyu doing Kuro was Tamaki/Light/etc lol
