112. I understand. I think there are two points for Mashiro: that he will be happier to identify as female and that he will be happy to love Sou. That the two elements could be seen as linked could put some people off. I do get that. (Also, I have not read the last volume. It's driving me nuts, that I can't find any version to read.)

167. Yeah, that's a hard one to discuss, isn't it. You know it's a gut reaction that can't be counted as anything but racist in that "Everyone's A Little Bit Racist Sometimes" way, so you don't want to talk about it, but you can't help feeling that way. For me it was mostly the way the text didn't quite handle up to volume five or six - I'm not quite sure which one was it - any actual reason for Mashiro to consider 'being a woman'. I mean, there's the usual machism that comes from most manga which I'm sort of used to, but the one reference he ever made about it was how he 'didn't consider himself a woman' because he 'wasn't delicate and frail enough'.

Funnily enough, the reason I would love it if Paterson Joseph was the next Doctor is because he was the marquis de Carabas. XD I would just fanspasm into eternity over it. Yes, I'm that lame.

Hopefully. My god, that would be awesome. I thought the comics would bring more of a fandom explosion, but they totally didn't, at least not that I saw. ):

I still want there to be an actual movie someday. Hopefully someday soon. I'd be interesting in seeing recasting, though I did love the original cast. (Except for Peter Capaldi -- I love him to death and he was amazing in the part, but... Islington is not Peter Capaldi. XD) And also Terry Gilliam needs to get that Good Omens movie made FINALLY Y/Y/MFY?
