153. I agree with all of this (except for the last line). It's character development, people. It may not be character development you like, but he's not a horrible person, and he's happy. He probably went through a bad time, but man, people do. And they get over it. And he's happy and having fun now, and he is still a good person. You can deal.

154. Funny thing is, I ship them so hard in that comic, but I totally could never bring myself to ship them in the show. XD; I think it's because, in retrospect, they both seemed like role models for being AWESOME HOMOSEXUALS (yeah yeah, the gay James jokes, we've all heard them before, but Jesse would make a kickass lesbian and you know it~). Or at least bisexual, fabulous, and proud.

SOB I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS TRUE WHEN I WAS A KID. WITHOUT REALIZING IT. No wonder, my childhood. ;;

161. Maybe they just like different shows? There's nothing wrong with fandom hopping, and there's nothing wrong with them for doing so. If they like something new, they like it. They're having fun, which is what fandom's all about. They're doing it a bit spastically (though six months is a decently long time), but they're still doing it right.

164. Because we're not that obsessive. Not saying it's wrong for you to have one OTP forever, but man, I don't see the fun in that at all. What's the point? OTP is just simpler for me to say than "a pairing in this fandom I really really love." I can have a few OTPs even in one specific fandom, and they can totally contradict each other. My OTPs are usually the ones that don't fade -- I can look back on them even after I've left the fandoms and haven't touched the canon in forever, and go "... oh yeah I love them ♥" and it's still true. I just absolutely can't take one pairing and put it on a pedestal forever -- I like too many different things, and my tastes change, and my interests move on or shift intensity.

171. I think it's nice that they're giving us (lol says the person who hasn't been on Gaia in months) a gay character, if only because it's easier for some people to relate to. It's a good thing. I'd have loved it if she was gay, though. >D (The woman in that picture, I forget her gd name.)

179. You might just really like the relationships between characters who are romantic. I do love the way that affects a relationship -- I don't think it's any weirder than shipping slash pairings and being a lesbian. Keep on likin' what you like in your stories. :>

Ah, that could kinda suck, depending on how they handled it. I myself don't see that stereotypes are immediately a bad thing (I CALL THIS THE SPEEDY GONZALEZ EFFECT), unless they're handled negatively, so I could totally cross my fingers and hope she could be an awesome example even if she was stereotypical in a lot of ways. But I could totally see it turning out bad, ick.

Yeah, I can sympathize. One of my friends was like... pretty much the only person I know, IRL or online, who was a fan of a few of my different fandoms, and it sucked when she totally fell out of love with them. I don't think I ever lose my love for old fandoms, even when I move on; people can totally spazz at me about old loves and I'll spazz right back and remember how much I loved it. XD;;
