Ratched wasn't a hero for 99 percent of her story

(Anonymous) 2020-06-30 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I agree but I don't think that Nurse Ratched Anon does

(Anonymous) 2020-06-30 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Nor was Danaerys actually.

Was she a villain when she was freeing slaves or battling the undead?

(Anonymous) 2020-06-30 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Basically as soon as she set foot into Westeros she started doing evil shit.

(Anonymous) 2020-06-30 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Like what?

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
She started doing evil shit even before that.

Remember when she burned a slave woman - who'd been repeatedly, brutally raped and watched her village be slaughtered - alive for striking back at her oppressors? She talked a good game, but we had very early indicators that she was more about her own self-image and power and feelings than she ever was about freeing people and breaking down corrupt systems.

She killed her unborn child after Dany saved her life.

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
The witch told her not to go into the tent while the ritual was happening.

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
And kept her as a slave. And forced her to tend to the man who was responsible for her rape and the massacre of her people.

Mirri Maz Duur volunteered to help Drogo, who was injured protecting Dany after she stopped the other Dothraki from raping.

I’m sure you’d be nice to the person who killed your unborn child. Wtf is wrong with you?

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
Didn't the witch tell her that there was a terrible cost for bringing Drogo back? Like she was warned not to enter the tent.

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
She made it sound like killing Drogo’s horse would be the sacrifice.

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure you'd be nice to the people who slaughtered everyone you knew and cared for, raped you, and kept you as a slave. Wtf is wrong with you?

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
Dany was trying to protect her.

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Dany has nothing to do with that and was trying to stop it, genius.
