Wearing stiletto heels can literally damage your feet.

And they're not appropriate for an office setting. In an office you should dress like a professional not like you're on a date. And no, it doesn't mean you have to dress like a man. There is plenty of pretty and feminine clothing that isn't sexy.

I think you'll find that plenty of women wear stilettos in an office setting and look perfectly professional.

(I do not as I think they hurt like hell, but I'm more of an outlier)

In fact, you cannot. By definition stilettos are not appropriate for the office. That some women wear them with their power suits doesn't make it okay.
