See, I loved Sherlock because it was super over the top and fun (though I did hate the Irene Adler episode. Sorry, OP). I’ve rewatched some of my favorite episodes, but season four was a freaking mess (and not in an enjoyable way) and really soured the show for me. I was a Johnlock shipper back then, but I never thought it was gonna be canon. However, I know a lot of people were convinced they were the endgame, so the fact that they didn’t end up together definitely pissed people off.
