Also, if they're so tight, wouldn't that risk pinching/rubbing the skin in places you don't want it pinching/rubbing? Like, dude sits down wrong and things go wrong in the groin?

You wear them in a bit first! Leather conforms really well to your body shape and is super comfortable after a while. But still, super sweaty.
