Currently rereading the series...again

Yes, terrible adaptation.

Then again, it wasn't meant to be. It's a telling of a different quest for the Tower. On its own, its a fun movie. Idris Alba does a great job.

Would I love a well-done, faithful adaptation (would have to be a HBO/Netflix series)? Abso-fucking-lutely.

Am I satisfied with this "inspired by" version of the story? Yeah, I think I am.
