KStew can act, she's just a naturalistic actor. Not saying she's one of the greats, but she does perfectly well when she's playing to the nuance not the spectacle.

She's a great actor but it has been a problem in many of her roles that many of her directors don't really play to her strengths as a naturalistic actor. That's especially apparent in action movies, where her style just doesn't play well with a lot of the material she's given and the sort of glossy tone in those pictures. I think there probably is a way to use her effectively in big-budget popcorn movies but nobody's figured out how to crack it yet (or they haven't really tried). And it seems like a Princess Diana project might also have similar issues.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. There are only so many times a person can blame other aspects of the production or crew...
