I remember finding it refreshing that it wasn't just the women being assaulted. Which is fucked up but like you said, it was all just presented as normal at the time.

I agree it's disturbing, though I think to be fair to the show we were supposed to be disturbed by most of it, Farscape was always pretty open about how traumatizing most of John's experiences were for him (I recall him actually saying straight out that he was raped by Grayza and we were definitely not supposed to think that was okay or funny).
