I think it can often be difficult for people to draw a line between telling someone their opinion is wrong, and simply disagreeing with them

Well, there are occasionally secrets that are just... Factually wrong. Like the person who made them is misremembering canon, or they've confused two actors, or they're making wild assumptions about something they haven't seen. What else would you call that?

Secret doesn't specify "in a rude way" it just says informing them they are wrong. There are polite ways of informing people they are wrong.

It's possible to point out someone's factual error without calling them stupid or using language that sounds like Trump. Anyway, OP isn't referring to factual errors, but people who tell other people their opinions are wrong.

This is making me laugh, because I literally had this exact thought today while playing D3. Every time you score a victory the big bad pops up like a bad Twitter feed, and like a sore loser, tells you in colorful ways how you won't succeed next time.
