I know...they have a tribute band? I was pretty surprised to learn this just now, because in my experience, CCM is not an industry where nostalgia thrives. People don't release covers, they don't sample older CCM music (people are still pretending the rerecorded Jesus Freak is the only one which ever existed), and it seems unusual to hear CCM radio play a pop song more than 10 years old. So I'd expect a band with its own tribute band would be...much more legendary in CCM terms. Whatever the CCM equivalents of Zeppelin, The Beatles and The Grateful Dead would be (examples of secular bands who've earned their own tribute bands).
