124 - I agree with this secret.
Though, in actuality, I've never even seen that film version all the way through. I cannot stand the Disney-fication of brilliant old stories to make them G-rated selling points. I have a feeling Tim Burton's new adaptation will be the only version that will appeal to me.

144 - There are no words for how much I despise the term 'sell-out' >_<
I mean, I'd be happy with only a 4th series but come on, like Noel said - isn't that going to get boring? They've already done 20 episodes.
What about all of the people who complained about series 3? If they keep doing the same thing over and over, people are going to get tired of it. So, they're expanding the franchise. If that makes them 'sell-outs' in your eyes, then I'm sad for you.

The only thing I wish was different is that they'd not have acquired all of those rude, screaming, moronic Noel fangirls but otherwise, The Boosh are still golden in my eyes.

I don't really know another way to say it.

I'm glad that they're expanding it, but I think it's getting to be a bit much. I mean, a festival, a book, a movie, a record label and CD, figurines, etc.? Really?

I agree about the Noel fangirls, though. *shudder*

But I'm glad you actually decided to comment on my secret without getting really angry and flaming me. :) I have a feeling some crazy fans would've done that.

I have to agree that the figurines are a bit much. I honestly didn't know about the record label, just about the album, but otherwise I don't really have an issue with it because I loved the book and think a film would be a nice change of pace.

My only gripe is the fact I'm stuck in Australia and couldn't even go to the festival, which looked like a lot of fun but that's not the fault of the boys.

Like I said, I just don't like that term, 'sell out'. I see it used to often in reference to things that I have loved for a long time that suddenly get huge and I find it a bit insulting tbh... But I see your points. For sure.

And don't worry, I'd never flame someone for simply offering an opinion.

I'm just really glad you replied to my comment explaining your position after I did mine, thank-you. Those crazy fans (see also: the fangirls...*hides under desk*) are the ones we must avoid obviously. As it seems, unlike them we are able to have a civil and informed discussion :) and that's a quality I always love in true Boosh fans.

Yeah, even though I mentioned the book, I'm buying it as well. It looks really awesome. xD And I'd totally watch the movie. But those figurines looked like cake toppers. Ick.

Hey, I couldn't go to the festival either. I'm one of the few US Boosh fans.

I STRIVE to not be a crazy fangirl. You know, what's funny is that as soon as I saw that my secret was posted, my immediate reaction was "OH SHIT WHAT DID I JUST DO" because I was afraid they might start flaming me. Not because I'm afraid of them, just because I find internet fights annoying.

You really should get the book, it's worth the money :D
I absolutely adore it and they obviously cared about it because you can see the love and effort put into those pages.

Hey, honestly, I'd have them on a cake anyday. Imagine that? Howard and Vince on your wedding cake, LOL. I think they're sweet, they've broken up the couples and they don't exactly look like them anyway and I definitely can't afford them but they're kind of endearing. Kind of...

A US fan? Cool! It's great that they've got such a span.
Here in Aus it's just now picking up and I'm kind of upset about it, really. It's becoming a trend for little scene kids and Myspacers who're fangirling Vince and quoting Old Gregg incessantly...*facepalm*

Internet fights are so bloody useless, any flames you get for just posting a secret will be nothing but petty and meaningless. From this brief conversation I can tell you're not a fangirl, that striving is definitely paying off :) though I think, overall, all you need is maturity and dignity to avoid falling into that insane trap.

I mean, have you seen those articles lately? Detailing how those mad girls will fawn over Noel mid interview and completely ignore Julian?? That sort of stuff makes me ill... poor guys :( I can't imagine having to put up with that.

I must admit though... I dressed up as old gregg for halloween. *cough* No one except for kids in my school recognized me. But they just know old gregg from the youtube video. Although, one lady did think I was a string bean, and another thought I was a palm tree. xD

Yeah, I tend to not read those articles. Sometimes they kind of depress me. I still bought Q magazine over here in the US to read the Cash For Questions article that they had. It was worth it. :D

Old Gregg for Halloween?? You rock so hard. May I ask, how did you make the wig? I would've been him for Halloween too but I coudn't get the seaweed right. I've made a Hitcher costume before though to be fair, that was infinitely easier than Gregg would be.

I feel I may have come off anti-Old Gregg in my last comment but that couldn't be further from the truth, he's one of my favourite characters! I guess I just meant that he's all that kids know right away from, as you said, the Youtube video.
