NAYRT The only thing I can think that AYRT might be referring to is that they stole almost all of the concepts for DS9 from the creator of B5.

In the beginning, sure. They really made it their own, though. I don't think the shows are all that similar past the first maybe two seasons.

Rurouni Kenshin. That series means a lot to me and, even though I packed all the manga volumes and my anime box set away, I keep coming back to it. I just don't read Watsuki's notes to the reader anymore or buy anything else that he's made.

I agree. Also Angel and Firefly and the first Avengers movie. Whedon turns out to be kind of awful. But I like a lot of his stuff.

Steven Moffat of Sherlock and the Matt Smith/Peter Capaldi era of Doctor Who.

I know it has a shit-ton of problems, but I still love the first two series of Sherlock (fucking hated the second series and haven't seen the last series)
Same with Doctor Who (the Vincent episode is one of my all time favourite episodes of the entire series and I really liked the last series Capaldi was in) there's a LOT of shit he said and write up that was shitty - but also I'm still petty-mad at Moffat for not including Paul McGann in the 50th anniversary.

I love S1 of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. I also think Chronicle is really good. But oh boy, Max Landis.

I'm someone who is usually completely unaffected by finding out the creator of something I like sucks. It makes almost no difference to me. But Max Landis really challenges me on that. Wow he's awful.
