I always loved CM. But even before this recognition of 'copaganda' I noted the propaganda of the show of the "missing white woman" syndrome. In this way, I think Mandy Pattinkin was right. I got sick of every week a woman getting sexually abused and murdered in horrific fashion. I found it interesting they even based these horrific murders on real life murders where men were the ones being killed.
For a show that isn't particularly 'copaganda' I'd recommend "Hannibal". All the characters are arguably messed up. In no way would I argue it promotes the awesomeness of law enforcement (considering a serial killer is the one helping them).
