Because it's so untrue to the source material! I'm a huge fan of the books and I get that some things change in the adaptation but that's just...CS Lewis would roll in his grave. And I've never liked Caspian either, nor the actor's portrayal. It just made me really upset. It was so cheesy and over a cheesy love song and just felt like Disney fan service.

Understandable, I guess. I'm not really crazy about the books (not PC, anyway), so I guess I don't get the flaring hatred. I didn't mind the changes, especially in Peter's case, since I thought they made him much more interesting. It was definitely cheesy, but I thought it was sweet since Susan started out really withdrawn.
