i don't watch this youtuber very much, but i do recognize her from a few recommended videos i've seen of hers here and there over the years. i didn't get irritated while watching, but i absolutely felt like i was watching a middle-school version of myself. and tho nothing she said herself was even all that dramatically "cringe-worthy", i do lack fondness for my middle-school-self, so i could easily see myself getting weirdly upset like you describe if i watched her more often without realizing it lmao
