Re: Weekend Plans?
(Anonymous) 2020-07-18 02:32 am (UTC)(link)Hopefully my chewy order will get in and not get stolen off the porch like my roommate's cat food (and a handheld citrus juicer gadget from amazon, wtf) did last week. I ordered a bunch of pine pellets to put down as chicken coop flooring, dried mealworms for the flock of tiny dinosaurs, and catnip for my fuzzbeast.
And I might spend more money than I should because a) it's my birthday and b) Comic Con is cancelled so I won't be spending big money on nerd stuff there next week.
I was thinking of buying a dress form/dressmaker's dummy so I don't have to use the lopsided duct tape mummy dummy (put on two layers of huge t shirt, have a friend mummy-wrap your torso up to your neck and down to your butt in duct tape, have them cut up the back through the outer t shirt, remove your duct tape chrysalis, tape the back seam and bottom, neck, and arm holes shut, stuff with sheets or newspaper, and you have a cheap dressmaker dummy.) Also a screen door because I need more ventilation in my house but don't want to let my cat out.
Re: Weekend Plans?
(Anonymous) 2020-07-18 03:41 am (UTC)(link)I tossed my duct tape dummy several years ago after it oozed out of shape and still haven't replaced it.
I've gotta go to Home Depot too, to buy a ladder.
Re: Weekend Plans?
Good luck with your raised bed. How deep are you making it and what are you hoping to plant?
