Weird how you never hear about LOTR fans getting rid of their books because Tolkien was a racist.

They can rationalize Tolkien's racism but JKR plainly stating people who have periods are female wounds them to their cores. To be reminded that most people are male or female, no matter which of the thousands of genders they identify as, is invalidating.
