I can see that it must be a little bit of a chore for yourself and the better writers in your group, but honestly it's an absolutely wonderful thing you're doing for the less good writers.

I know how it feels.
I grew to dislike one of the fans in mine. We had different interpretation of characters. Spoiled my experience with the fandom. She was everywhere.

I was in a similar situation once and it ended up souring me to that particular fandom, the canon it was based on, and even fandom in general for a while.

There were just a handful of us so it created this feeling of closeness, but also a lot of pressure. I felt like I had to read and comment on all of the fics, even if they didn't interest me at all or I wasn't in the mood, be very welcoming to the rare newbie we'd get sometimes, interact with everyone because we were friends, right?

It got to a point where I just couldn't do it anymore. Fandom had become an obligation I dreaded rather than something fun. I ghosted them completely and stayed away from anything fandom related for over a year, and by the time I re-engaged it was in a brand new fandom and only as a lurker. Nowadays the only fandom space where I truly interact with people is here, and only because I can do it on anon.

I'm not active in one fandom anymore because it was so small (even after it recently got a lot of new fans) that it just ended up leading to a lot of drama! I still like the source material and occasionally post fic for it, but I don't really read fic or look for fanart except for stuff by my friends, because it's just not a very fun fandom to be more active than that in (at least for me). I'm glad yours is drama-free at least. Small fandoms can be really hit or miss.
