117. I've only seen an episode of the canon, but I wouldn't say shipping Gwen/Arthur is mindless. It can even be creative, imagining how these two might get together using just their personalities alone. It's almost similar to writing a slash fic, since most slash couples have little-to-no canon romantic interaction in the show.

152. I love him not only despite of Twilight, but because of his spite for Twilight. It's hilarious. Sometimes worrying, but mostly hilarious.

162. There are several Jewish people I'm disgusted by (Ben Stein, no. Darwin did not cause the Holocaust. And you don't get a free pass to say that shit because of who you are.) but never would they make me embarrassed of my faith.

Where has he been spiteful about Twilight? I want to find it so bad, but I guess I'm not looking in the right places! I kind of enjoy imagining him and Kristen Stewart flirting by making fun of it together.

Maybe spite is a harsh term used mostly for the sake of word-play. But I wouldn't really call his feelings towards the text 'reverent'.

Cleolinda's Twilight Wiki (http://cleoland.pbwiki.com/Twilight#RPattz) is a fairly good recourse for such Serious Business.

In Ben Stein's defense, eugenics would've never come about as a [pseudo]science if it weren't for Darwin's published work, not that Darwin intended for his scientific findings to be used in that regard, or that he directly caused the Holocaust. Still... the idea that some people are evolutionarily inferior hasn't exactly gone away completely.

Some people, when they mean to convey an idea, end up with it coming out all wrong. And I'm not sure why I'm defending Ben Stein since he was one of Nixon's speechwriters, so he's kind of lame anyway. Maybe I'm just trying to say that I know what he was getting at.

1)Stein cried like a little bitch when Nixon resigned. It was lolarious.

2)People were using all kinds of "superiority" based reasons to kill each other long before Darwin came around. Religion and class to start with, but also stuff like Phrenology. Claiming the Holocast wouldn't have happened with out "The Origin of the Species" is like claiming all war would end if everyone gave up religion. And claiming an idea is worth dismissing, as Stein does, because it was misused by assholes who misused everything they could get their hands on is equally foolish.
