Bummed because I really need to lose weight but I’m gonna have to actually put effort into it. Monitoring what I eat takes the one great thing in my daily life and makes it into a chore. I’m really reluctant to cut into my happiness this much, but I also really, really want the weight to go away...and it’s so hard to do anything about it because the results take time to show, and in the meantime I’m spending days or weeks trying to eat less (when eating is my favorite thing to do in the world) and exercise more (when exercising is my least favorite thing to do in the world), and seeing nothing come of it. I usually last a week at most before I give up and choose happiness.

But I want the fucking fat gone.
