Yeah, they're on my cooking bucket list along with laminated doughs, but I only want to try it once, just to cross them off the list and go back to buying them.

I made a treacle tart for my birthday this year that took 5 days. It was a ridiculous amount of effort for a single tart but I still enjoyed the experience of making it. The end result was pretty darn tasty too. I would definitely make it again but probably not more than once or twice in a year.
