I liked him. But I also like Hewett's character. Actually there hasn't been a CM character I haven't liked. Yes, even Seaver.

I felt like most of the cast additions had/have great potential, but they weren't always introduced well. Seaver's introduction (and the timing re: Paget Brewster and AJ Cook's firing) was not good. Hewitt's introduction was even worse, IMO. First they started with the whole "tough cop who jokes about a suspect 'falling down the stairs' hur hur" thing, then she sort of blended in with the team without anything even approaching a realistic transition. Honestly, her background in Vice barely made sense re: making a good profiler?

I preferred it when they introduced Rossi and it was awkward and a bit bumpy while he adjusted to the role. He became one of my faves!

That's true, the intros haven't always been perfect. Rossi definitely had the best intro. And Rossi did become a favorite of mine, which is weird because he's not usually a character type I love. But he just works.
