Belle/Rumplestiltskin, Once Upon a Time

Hoo boy there's a lot of these, this was an incredibly prolific fandom and is still going today, if slower. Canon is a giant Disney fairytale crossover soap opera clusterfuck. But it has one of my favorite Beauty and the Beast couples. Imagine if the Beast was actually Rumpelstiltskin, a baby stealing, gold-spinning, scaly, scrawny, snaggletoothed little wizard wearing a bunch of skinned alligators and glitter, and Belle went with him to save her entire village, not just her father. Fandom also has lots of non-magical AUs for canon reasons, but dammit I'm a monsterfucker.
