which people you find annoying is not a rational heuristic for determining which arguments have merit, in my personal opinion

the Internet is full of incredibly stupid and annoying people of every possible opinion imaginable

There's no context provided here but I do see a lot of fandom arguments veer straight into "if [problematic thing] is not a dealbreaker to you that means you're complicit and a monster" and it's usually some militant little brat doing this.

Yes, I agree that kind of argument is very annoying and almost always dumb! It seems to happen a lot on here that people have that specific thing in their mind, and then just assume that any conversation about 'problematic' things is about those specific people and no one else.

(To be honest, I actually don't really like the word 'problematic' being used this way at all, because I think it's weak and not specific, but I think that battle's pretty much been lost)
