I'm still looking for a new place, so a lot of it will depend on what I have to work with but I'd love to have a frog pond as well as some raised beds for veggies. I don't plan to go too crazy with the growing but I like the idea of some miniature perennial fruiting trees. Tiny scale permaculture if that's a thing? Lol. I'm reading a lot about gardening for wildlife too and I'm excited to see if I can fit in some native shrubs to attract small birds. I'm hoping my new place will have some existing trees to create some shade and nesting spots too. I've got some insect and bee boxes ready to go.

Your native garden conversion sounds lovely! Some of my favourite natives are definitely going to feature in my future garden. I love the look of having dichondra trailing over everything and some climbing natives like hardenbergia which has pretty purple flowers like wisteria but without the evil roots. What are your favourite natives?
