(Anonymous) 2020-07-28 12:22 am (UTC)(link)Now though I feel like I've been left waaaaaaaaay behind though, and it's almost impossible to catch up. I did catch an episode of NCIS...New Orleans I think it was about 6 months ago and it seemed somewhat interesting? Just not enough to spark my interest like it once was.
Although..Coroner! What's that about? Sounds quite interesting, although I suspect it will be one of those things where the "Coroners" act like cops and do things waaaay outside their jurisdiction to the point where it will likely be hard to suspend disbelief at times. :'D
Re: OP
(Anonymous) 2020-07-28 01:16 am (UTC)(link)It's going to be on The CW and I thought it was a completely new series, but it's actually a Canadian series that The CW acquired and will start airing in August (there are two 8 episode seasons already and another season for the CBC was announced in May - so I have no idea how The CW will handle that). Anyway, Coroner is based on the Jenny Cooper series of novels by M. R. Hall. The series stars Serinda Swan as Jenny Cooper, a recently-widowed coroner in Toronto who investigates suspicious deaths. So, I'm guessing you're right about jurisdictional issues.
