to be honest, if I wanted to go on social media and keep informed of any current social media activism - tumblr wouldn't even be remotely be in my first top 5 sites to go to.

Like one of those 'REBLOG THIS OR YOU'RE EVIL' posts that was supposedly meant to link people to BLM donations pages either turned out to be scammers or going to the wrong movement with a similar name. Not saying that sites like twitter or facebook don't have scammers - but I have noticed that there's definitely a lot more on tumblr.
