There is this idea that somber and serious equals mature and humor is immature, and I don't think that is automatically true. That is just an assumption made. Aang in season 3 certainly doesn't seem like the same Aang as the first few episodes.

(Anonymous) 2020-07-31 06:02 am (UTC)(link)It might have been due to how my school divided the grades (it was so small that 2 or sometimes even 3 grades were taught in the same class) and I think when you're not in a setting like school that strictly divides you by age, it's not nonsense at all for 1-2 years not to be a barrier.
