As for my opinion, I totally understand where you're coming from. As for myself, I'm not into the kink place and I try to stay away. I know people who don't like it nor care about it, so not everyone in Hetalia is... like that. I know people who like it, though, and some are annoying.
As for the kink place, like I said (in a neutral view, that is) I know where you're coming from. Others think it's fine because, well, it's history. People should be over it even though it was horrible. Some people aren't as sensitive, you know? Also, some people who aren't as sensitive aren't jerks about it, either. But hell, I don't know what people think of this or try to accomplish for sure. Maybe it's for the characters, human personality-wise, not country-wise, you get what I'm saying? Or for the history in a, for lack of better terms, whacked out more realistic plot.
In a more negative view, almost every fandom is like this, too, so, mehhh. I think people who judge the fandom or judge the fandom based off the kink meme should judge more on the person. At least people aren't going "YES. RAPE OF NANKING. BEST. INCIDENT. EVER."
