The first one is clearly the LEAST gory of the five, and both 1 and 2 have characters that interconnect to one another in complex ways. From 3 on they get really, really violent in totally horrible new ways, yes that’s true, but the story stays true to the theme of the movies. I just, yeah, people who generalize about them clearly don’t really understand. Which is fine, because this genre totally isn’t for everyone, but damn, stop judging those of us who love these movies.
