103. I myself don't, but a couple of my friends like them, and I know for a fact they are incredibly intelligent people. A couple of them even agree with me on the abusive and shallow part--I don't think it's ever a good idea to generalize any fandom because there could be all sorts of reasons why people like something.

See if someone likes it because they think it's romantic, or because they love Edward or Bella than I'll admit I get judgemental too.
