Out of curiosity, how do you define 'taking a stand' if all you do is read and write fic?

I didn't mean just reading fic. Obviously there's not really anything to take a stand on if that's all you're doing (other than like, IDK, if there's racism in a fic and it's treated as a good thing, you can leave a review sharing how you feel about it or whatever). I just meant fandom in general, when it comes to people avoiding certain topics of conversation because they don't want to "get political".
