116: You can't use 'Dean had sex with her!' as a reason for Anna being a Mary Sue. Dean's a slut, he'll happily have sex with loads of girls. Dean having sex with her doesn't make her special.

He talked about his feelings with her and then they had on-screen sex. That does make her stand out from most of the other girls he has sex with.

116. Yeah, but the sex he had with her was made out to be something all "special" rather than the usual fun-times casual sex he usually has (see: Jamie) and it's not the sex alone. The sex is just one of many, many things wrong with Anna's character. I partly blame the actors. You can't push the idea of their moment together being special/romantic/hot if the actors have less chemistry with each other than two blueberry scones. Throw in a cheesy, badly edited and shot sex scene and the whole thing was simply weird and cringe-worthy.

I loved her when she was a slightly crazy, but innocent, odd girl who seemed to have a bit of an awed crush on Dean because he's famous among the angels. It made her cute and unique in a way that wasn't sparkly or cliche. Making her an angel was just a bad, bad idea. She started out with so much potential, too, which makes it even more of a shame.
