I have a theory that they're trying to get the uber trolling potential out of the way before people catch on.

...It's working :( This ruined my day a bit. I just...hate that I cannot, obviously, like something for history, unlike the shallow asshole who posted the secret - perhaps they assume everyone likes it for the fact that there are "homg boys" because they don't know any history and thus have nothing else about it to like?

Though honestly, this one didn't get to me as much as the one from yesterday. I think I've just heard the 'YOU ONLY LIKE THE BISHES!!1' argument so many times that I don't even take it seriously anymore. I'm just kind of like 'Whatever, dude. If that's what you want to believe Hetalia is, then I guess it's just your loss.' :/

I vote we retreat back into the fandom where everyone is nice and awesome and wank does not exist.

I don't particularly see why I must have one, but I'm assuming it's because the majority of European countries are stereotyped to have blonde hair/blue eyes. And Hetalia is based off of stereotypes. So.

Because those hair/eye colours aren't rare in northern/eastern Europe and America?

Would you complain about a show set in Japan where everyone had black hair, too?

The ratio of blonde / brunette in Hetalia isn't that weird. It's not like he has a bazillion options to work with, you know. With them all having realistic hair colour. (Prussia being a possible exception).
