You're reading a lot more into it than it warrants tbh. Just the existence of the phrase making love as opposed to fucking is not passing judgement. It's just two terms used to describe different styles of having sex and different emotions being at play. It may be that some put one above the other but I personally have never witnessed that attitude.

The baggage both of you are bringing to it frankly seems like your own issues.

And I have. Everyone is operating from their own experience here, and given that the topic said "what are your feelings/thoughts/opinions on this term", I was sharing mine.

Honestly, I can find it kind of amusing that I mentioned people judgmental and there's been at least one person (since I'm not sure if you're the one who left the other comment or not) objecting to me using that word, but then turning around and being judgmental by accusing me of "having issues" just because I have a different opinion on a phrase than they do.

You're allowed to have your own feelings and opinions on the term, and so am I, it doesn't mean either of us is wrong, just that we have different experiences and thoughts.
