It's hilarious that you're accusing me of projecting in the same comment where you delude yourself that I'm harassing anyone. And I could say a lot about your attitude, where you're dissing the amount of work writers put into their fics.

ayrt

No, actually. I've plainly said multiple times that writers do in fact put a lot of effort in their work. Yet at the same time I've seen too many gift/exchange fics where the author themselves say they've wrote it in half an hour at like 3AM and only glanced at the prompt- or something combination of the three. Does everyone do this? No, of course not.
But simply by the way you're overreacting I'd wager you don't know much about artwork, and even less about how tedious the process can actually be.

I both draw and write, I know the effort both take to produce a decent result. And I maintain my stance that the artwork most often considered bad, has a lot more thought put into it than a halfassed drabble would have. If only because the biggest fault an artwork has is being overdone to ruin. Both take effort, but while you can "not proof read we die like men", artwork takes more levels of finesse that cannot be ignored, especially if you want to go thorough the trouble of posting it.
