He was a better character on DS9.

He wasn't a bad one on TNG, just sometimes it seemed like the TNG writers didn't really know what to do with him. He seemed his best on TNG when someone was challenging him, so on DS9, with Jadzia, he was able to come into his own.

Agreed. I love Worf but like Yar (who I also loved) it really seemed like the show didn't utilize his character very well in the early seasons.

Yes. I liked Worf well enough on TNG, but he didn't interest me most of the time. He just slotted in so well to DS9.
