I've heard some rumblings about this newest 'project' (at least I'm assuming this is what You're talking about). I'm really dying to know what she could possibly do that would be creepier than last time. I'm not on her flist so I don't know any specifics, just her friends are whispering that they're getting a little freaked out.

But, I think if Jared can get past everything else that's been thrown at him at these conventions ('Good luck in your pursuit of Jensen!' REALLY?), then there's probably very little that would scare him off of making that much money. (I'm assuming the project is aimed at him, since he's the one she's *this* close to stalking.) And if she does freak him out, he could always have her blacklisted from the events, you know?

Or, I'm totally off base and you're talking about someone else and then never mind, I'll shut up.

Its freaky because it involves presenting the lads the DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS of how and why people ~dream~ about them at night and are their reason for living, yadda, yadda, yadda. Along with the FULL NAMES of said people. I don't know what's freakier - her doing this or the people participating. I'll say one thing - if it wasn't freaky in the least, she'd be a lot more open about it. That its so secretive and hidden away is adding to the thought that there's likely some other fucked up thing involved. At least this time she won't take up everyone's time with her shenanigans. god, I wish she'd stop and go cure herpes or something more meaningful than this crap.

Just to let you all know that this latest project is not my project. It is

sanpao19's project and I'm just helping her by promoting it on my LJ only. She came up with the idea. She's making the scrapbooks. She asked me to help promot it and I was going to give the scrapbooks to Jared and Jensen at the LA con, but now that she's going she'll be doing it. It is not a secret or hidden project. I'm just promoting it on my LJ only because the last time I had a project I had a lot of people upset because they felt I was spamming the comms.

All this project is is

sanpao19 is making a scrapbook for Jared and one for Jensen and fans can email her their info (fave character, fave villain, etc) to be added to the books. That is all.

frankly, i don't give a shit whose project it is, its freaky. send the lads postcards, watch the show to boost ratings, buy the dvds, etc., etc., - that's the sane thing to do. constantly bombarding them with evidence of the obsessiveness with which some fen fetishsize them is creepy, freaky, and unnerving.

the scrapbook is nothing more than a convenient way for them to know who the fuck to put on a list of potential stalkers. that's likely why the secret op maker thinks this constant shit will make them scale back their con appearances.

and what everyone seems to conveniently forget, is that they're being paid to be there, and they're actors. so any appreciation they show is partially an act. seriously. just stop.

think about why the fuck Cliff is with them 24/7, now. its not because he's a cuddly person. he's their fucking bodyguard on the look-out. why do you think jared shared that creepy and lame scrapbook with him? so he knows who the fuck to look-out for. jesus buy a fucking clue.

What the. Really? There goes my sanity. And possibly the actors'. You know, some of the fandom projects are pretty nice and sweet (I know people who organize normal scrapbook type stuff or a mass sending of postcards basically saying things like, "Good job, we love you!" which is fine), but Jesus. I'm cringing right now.

Does she actually believe that the guys won't find this absolutely creepy at all?

she seems to think its not only normal, but the acceptable thing to do. she seems to think that anyone that has an objection to it are ~jealous~ and mean people who have nothing better to do than rain on her fan parade. the delusion, it is deep.

I posted 172, and you hit the nail on the head. The first person to respond has the details correct, but another thing is that she has chosen to include both Jared and Jensen in this endeavor.

I feel like she's encouraging stalking and showing both of them that there are creepier fans out there than her. She really is a sweet person and I know how much the wank last time hurt her feelings, but I will never understand why she then proceeded to do something even more crazy than the first time.

She has said she will give it to them during the autograph session during the LA Con, which while better than taking up panel time, still takes time away from other fans there. I'm actually lucky enough to be going to the LA Con and I'm praying her and her cohorts won't finish the project in time because I'm just so utterly embarrassed that everyone at the convention is going to be lumped into the same 'crazy' bin.
