If you intend to post them, that is, and it's not just something you wrote for your own notebooks or whatever. (God knows I have tons of little two-sentence to four-paragraph things stashed away in dozens of notebooks that I never could use, but which really helped me develop my ideas of certain characters.)
"Snippets," if that's what they really are, are obnoxious to read. It's really annoying when people post them. If what you've written isn't complete in and of itself, regardless of how long it is - don't post it. (Unless it's a, "what do you guys think of this bit, should I do anything with it, etc." type of post to your friends list.)
IMO, the main criterion here is whether or not it's actually a finished piece. Anything you can describe as a, "snippet," of a larger scene probably isn't.
As a writer, I understand the temptation to post it if you really like it... But as a reader, I know how frustrating that is to READ.
