What it comes down to is there's just not a good one-size-fits-all approach and our education system mostly relies on pretending there is. Or at most a two-sizes-fit-all approach.

True.

Kind of sidenote, but that's why I'm so annoyed by all the OMG KIDS MUST GO BACK TO SCHOOL RIGHT NOW OR THEY ARE DOOMED TO FAILURE FOREVER!!!!! hysteria floating around at the moment. Sure, some kids do great in a traditional classroom environment, but others do much better with the at home/online model.
