I love learning historical facts and nuances, and little language bits that I can't yet parse myself, but I'm far more willing to take historical education from someone who's gentle about it and approaches in the right context, rather than standing on a soapbox to preach their screed about how you just don't understand the true historical pretext of ninjutsu or something. I try to be accurate when I can but also am pretty liberal with disclaimers and apologies when I feel like I've got things mostly accurate but there may be some liberties taken because canon is weird or translations are bad or...idk it's just harder to really get everything right if you aren't literally from China.
