I kinda accidentally wound up practicing korean a lot today and wondering if I'll wind up more fluent in Korean than in my literal first language: gàidhlig (scottish gaelic)
I am already waaaaay more fluent in English, I even tend to think in english when I think in words, and that's kinda sad tbh.

Wow!

I only took Irish Gaelic in school (college and it was a while ago), so different, but it's cool to see a native speaker in the wild (at least for me, lol) . I always find it super interesting how people end up thinking/dreaming in different languages. Which do you regularly use/in which capacity?

In effect I'm basically a 'native english speaker' with extra steps. I only very rarely speak gàidhlig. Though gàidhlig logic does sometimes get into my english and I know one person who knew I was ESL based on my accent.

I'm more fluent in English than in my first language. It makes me feel a little sad, so I'm reading and watching more things in my first language so I don't lose it.

I feel that.
