AYRT Hahaha oh good lord, okay I get the expression but in conjunction with a question about A/B/O lolol. So wrong ;)

Well I'll try explaining it like you're 18 (or the age of consent where you are) XD XD XD

I think I read once that A/B/O fics existed before Supernatural, but the general consensus is that it really hit big in the notoriously dark Supernatural kink memes back in the day. The usual dynamics are that there are Alphas who are domineering, in charge, etc, and Omegas who are essentially subs to the Alphas. There are usually heats and Omegas usually go into a Pon Farr-like state of must-fuck-now where they need an Alpha.

Betas tend to be everyone else who is not an Alpha or an Omega.

Also, Omegas are generally capable of bearing children, and pregnancy related plots are common.

It's kind of a way to have a character with 'he/him' pronouns and the ability to grow a beard also deal with pregnancy tropes.

I don't entirely understand it, but if we all liked the same thing, etc. etc.
