Right, because what grieving families would really prefer is the CSI/SVU approach, where the camera lingers over every drop of blood and brain matter, and the investigators enthusiastically focus in on the psycho-sexual dysfunctions of the murderer. Much better than the vicar popping by and saying 'Oh, by the way, it was Cousin Mary, don't fret, the constabulary awaits her at the train station ♥'

Definitely! And if they can fetishize rape or violence against women in every single episode, so much the better!
